During the 12 week educational internship, you'll have the opportunity to observe our seasoned providers for a minimum of 12 hours per week, gaining valuable insights into real-world sports medicine practices such as orthopedic assessments, treatments, comprehensive performance testing, and rehabilitative programming.
Each week, interns actively participate in a one hour skills lab, to enhance your knowledge and practical skills under the guidance of our experts. Your role extends to contributing to the organization of our facility, ensuring a clean, organized, and sanitary environment that promotes a safe and welcoming space for our athletes.
As an intern, you'll provide essential support during athletes' recovery sessions, whether it involves sanitizing treatment equipment or operating the normatec compression units. Collaborate closely with our reception team to welcome athletes, facilitate check-outs, and assist in booking their next session, contributing to the seamless operation of our facility. Furthermore, play a key role in content creation by recording videos and taking photos that showcase the unique services and atmosphere of The Recovery Room.
